Set against our open fields and the warm August air, this one-day retreat is designed for couples who want something not only meaningful, but a bit adventurous too.
Day highlights:
Equine Orientation: There are over 20 rescued horses on property and couples will get the opportunity to learn to brush, lead, and work on the ground with horses. No horseback riding and no experience required!
Facilitated Equine Arena Course: Couples will team up with a horse and embark on a fun, engaging obstacle course as a team! Uniquely curated for couples and professionally facilitated by our certified staff, this fun course will engage teamwork, trust, communication, problem solving, and so much joy with your equine teammate.
Air Pistol Target Range: Time to enjoy some light competition with each other! Our fully supervised air pistol target range will have you and your partner completing instructed shooting activities in a fun, low pressure environment. Bonus: you get to take home your target! Safety overview, training, ammo, air pistol, and PPE included.
Horse Painted Canvas Keepsake: A highlight craft of the day! Together, select paint colors for a marbled canvas design. Then, our staff will help you bring the canvas to one of the horses for them to paint and complete the artwork! The canvas will dry throughout the day and you will take it home at the end as a memorable keepsake.
Private Field Picnic: Midday, you’ll receive a curated picnic basket and blanket, then head into the field or woods for a private lunch together. Enjoy the view, good food, and the warm breeze.
